My family and I have been so blessed to spend some time here in Europe for the past month. I wanted to share a some of the images that I’ve taken since I’ve been here. La Vie en Rose | Carneros Inn Wedding Photography

There’s nothing like basking in the afterglow of your wedding day, a perfect time to capture the playfulness and romance between a newly married couple.

I met with Britt and Ryan at the Carneros Inn for a “Day After” session. We were blessed with the right amount of sunshine and the perfect temperature. Britt and Ryan were relaxed, happy and ready to enjoy the moment. We had a wonderful time just letting loose and being creative.

We all soaked up the scenery and atmosphere, strolling around the Carneros Inn picking romantic spots to shoot in. Near the end of the session, we stopped by the Boon Fly Cafe, a cozy little restaurant, that Britt and Ryan discovered on their first trip to the resort a few years back. I am so thrilled that we were able to incorporate their meaningful memories as well as create some new everlasting ones!

Geyserville & Napa Venues Among the Top Places to Get Married

Two beautiful venues in Napa Valley and Sonoma were voted among the coolest places to get married in. Published by Buzz Feed, a leading social news organization, voted a Napa resort and Sonoma winery among the coolest wedding venues in our beautiful region. One of them is in my hometown of Geyserville. Yippe!

If you’re planning a wedding in Wine Country, be sure to have a look at Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley. “Tucked into a private canyon in the Upper Napa Valley on a 157-acre site marked by ancient oaks, majestic hills, a rock-hewn stream and private lake lies Calistoga Ranch. The 48-room luxury resort captures the rich culture of food, wine and nature inherent to the region. The second venue you absolutely need to look into as well is Stryker Winery in Geyserville. “Taking cues from the natural environment, the architects built a winery that captures the romance of wine making. The natural curvature of the terrain was left intact and the buildings and site layout were designed to reflect the geometry of the vineyard rows. Offering a distinctive design with a stunning panorama of the picturesque Alexander Valley, the winery affords gorgeous views of the surrounding vineyards and the rugged Mayacamas mountain range.”

A Springtime Elopement at the Carneros Inn in Napa Valley

Britt and Ryan’s beautifully stylish and modern destination wedding was accented by a hint of rustic charm. They picked an unbelievable venue to get married at. The Carneros Inn in Napa Valley is the epitome of class and charm rolled into one. Their ceremony was warm and romantic, marked by deep and caring vows. The crackling fire that was lit behind them only added to the intimacy of their gathering. Surrounded by their close family members who followed them there from Arizona, they talked about how they make each others lives better and whole. The entire wedding was just beautiful and so tastefully put together. I am privileged that Britt and Ryan chose me to document their special day. I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Vineyard Club Weddings by Sonoma Wedding Photographer

If you haven’t noticed, I love talking about wedding venues that I come across in my travels around wine country. Well, surprise, I have another one I want to share with you. The Vineyard Club in Geyserville isn’t very difficult to swoon about since I live in the area and I couldn’t help but share it with you.

Tucked away in the charming little town of Geyserville, located in the northern Alexander Valley, the Vineyard Club is home to a beautiful lake, bordered by a sandy beach and nothing but glorious nature. If you are looking for seclusion and privacy for your wedding, this is the place. The Vineyard Club offers a rustic and elegant ambiance with stunning views. I can’t tell you how many beautiful locations there are for wedding portraits.

The VC clubhouse overlooks a the sloping terrain and is nestled under the heritage oak tree branches. Enjoy your wedding reception while taking in the wispy cool breezes and enjoying the lake views.

You can visit their website here. You should stop by for a visit and experience the tranquility and beauty that this venue offers. There is pretty much no other way I can say it!

The views on your way there aren’t too shabby either. Vintage rustic charm at its best.

Day After Session at the Carneros Inn | Napa Wedding Photographer

It was such a great experience to share a few hours with Britt and Ryan the day after their wedding. With the wedding day behind us, it was time to relax, get creative and capture the essence of this beautiful couple. We explored the beautiful, lush grounds at the Carneros Inn, where they got married the day prior. All I can say is “wow”! The Carneros Inn is absolutely stunning. It’s tucked away when you pass by and unless you actually go in, you could never imagine the beauty inside. Britt and Ryan look so amazing and it was such a great experience to delve in and capture more of their personalities during out Day After session. Bridal Portraits with Urban Flair | Napa Wedding Photographer

While I was visiting in Melbourne, Australia I had the immense privilege of working with Jenya Fowler, Make-Up and Hair Artist, for this bridal portrait shoot. This bridal shoot took place at Federation Square, in the heart of Melbourne’s Central Business District.

Being of a deconstructivist style, Federation Square has a lot of modern minimalist shapes combined with geometry. It’s sandstone facade is not only bold but unique in style. The interior is very art inspiring as well. All in all it was the perfect location to showcase our models Genelle and Dani’s feminine lines.

We also strolled down to the Yarra Riverfront, located next to Fed Square, to capture some romantic images of the girls. It was beautiful sun kissed day which only made the afternoon even better. I am so thrilled about this collaboration and the outcome. I hope you like it too! Comments are always welcome.
